PHIL& 120 – Introduction to Symbolic Logic
(Symbolic Reasoning)
Winter Quarter 2024
Studying symbolic logic can improve performance in other subjects, such as mathematics and science, and on standardized tests such as the SAT and ACT! It can also lead you to be a better reasoner and more effective communicator by helping you to think precisely, express your thoughts more clearly, identify good and bad arguments, and structure our own arguments in a more convincing way.
Online Asynchronous: 5 Credit Course
Fulfills either of two distribution requirements for AA degrees:
- Quantitative Reasoning
- Humanities Area I
- Or it can be taken as an elective
Registration Deadline: Jan 11
